The car I was riding was cruising along Boni Serrano Avenue within the vicinity of Camp Emilio Aguinaldo in Quezon City when my driver and conference guide Jason Pabia told me that I would be billeted at a quality inn and suites as the NATCCO Hostel was fully-booked. The mention of the last word got my attention as it connotes comfort. A few minutes travel after we turned left to 15th Avenue and I was overwhelmed when our car parked right in front of this building. . .
I was enthralled by the sight of its imposing facade . . .
and felt romantic with its Valentine-inspired Reception Area . . .
You and I surely share the same feeling of gauging the billeting facility’s services by the smile of its front desk staff. Take a look at this shot of two staff at the Front Desk. . . to the left is the receptionist wearing Julios Babao’s favorite smile while on the right is the supervisor. .
I was ushered to the various parts of the ground floor especially in its most important spot- the restaurant by Miss Honey Laureta, the sweet and amiable Sales and Marketing Associate. . .
Had it not not been for the fact that I had already taken my dinner with Ben Canama, Atty. Koronado Apuzen, Congressman Cres Paez and his staff at Barrio Fiesta in Ali Mall, I should have grabbed this really delicious food elegantly served in the table . . .
Afterwards, I was ushered towards the elevator . . . .
I admired the well-lit 5th-storey hall way . . .
leading to my room . . .
Inside… my romantic senses cannot help but be tickled with the sight of the queen-size bed . . .
complete with cable TV and air conditioning facilities. . .
I hurriedly set-up my laptop at this working area equipped with tiny dining table so comfortable for workaholics like me who always find time to pound the keyboard keys despite hectic schedules . . .
Looking at this elevated Shower and Comfort Room, I had mused to myself. . . this would surely pass the Feng Sui criteria of Engr. Boboy Barbosa . . .
My over all assessment for the facility: ACL Suites Business and Tourist Hotel situated in 72, 13th Avenue, Cubao Quezon City is a place I can really call a home away from home where I could feel comfort despite situated afar from my usual island life and though being situated in the urban center which is in stark contrast with the island vacations spots I usually enjoy. Moreover, this facility is worth the money being shelled for its generous fees . . .
Finally, this ACL Suites Business and Tourist Hotel would be very well qualify to be included in the list of quality inn and suites in this part of the country.
